After a long long weekend of basketball, our team won the Grand final. We were so excited, what a fabulous team effort,
it was very appropriate that I should come home and pick some roses from the garden,
my hydrangeas are loving all this rain, they are so healthy, I love them
I don't think I have ever had hydrangeas this big before, they must be in exactly the right spot
this beautiful garden which I hope to take inspiration from was on the hgtv website
My friend planted some seeds in cotton wool in these small take away containters $3.95 for 6 from Coles, they come with lids too. I decided to try it. I added water, put the lids on and sat them out in the sun. These seeds are from my Diggers Club at Heronswood (remember the cooking class), I put these seeds in a week ago today, now for the next step.
Have a fabulous Monday everyone.x

I went for a visit to Maling Road in Canterbury, Maling Road is full of gorgeous shops and cafes,
Lots of window shopping
the streets in Canterbury are beautifully lined with old trees,
after I took a wrong turn, I was able to do some
house stalking site seeing, this home had its front doors open and a furniture delivery van double parked out the front,
We are off to a Basketball tournament this weekend, I love watching my son play. I will be at every game.
What are you up to this weekend. X

On Saturday a group of us visited the beautiful Heronswood gardens and cafe, we were there to do a cooking class, and then enjoy all the beautiful food at a sit down dinner.
This is an outdoor table with herbs planted through the middle,
Fresh strawberries, I can never get mine to look like this, I guess water helps, but now that I've joined the Diggers Club, mine will be looking like this in no time.
Now to enjoy my coffee, my christmas edition magazines, and all your blogs of course.
Have a happy Tuesday everyone.x

Oh I love these garden seats so much, I have been meaning to get one forever, I must add it to my wish list. These are some of our holiday snaps from Disney, wait till you see the tiles
Here is Mrs. Teapot in the tiles, I stood there staring at her till my family dragged me away,
A view over the lake, the Magic Kingdom park is to the left of this building,
another garden seat, turned posts and look at those windows, all white
beautiful gardens too, full of duck and squirrels
This is the hallway to our room, around the edge of the carpet were disney character pictures, they weren't very noticeable, you had to look for them
and this is a close up of the wall paper, again, you couldn't pick Mickey Mouse,
The Grand Floridian is a beautiful resort, the five of us shared one room, two would have been nice, but you don't stay in your room very much, we only went back there when we couldnt walk one more step.
Have a fabulous weekend, what are you doing and who are you spending it with.xx

My foxgloves are out and blooming, looking gorgeous. Look how big my tree has grown, big enough to hang some small lantern type pieces in. So exciting. Unfortunately I didn't realise we were in for lots of rain and I left them hanging there overnight. They are all gone now, in the paddock somewhere.
The hydrangeas are so happy, lush and green
Have a lovely Wednesday everyone. I hope to have some new pics of the calf born today. High drama in the neighbours paddock, but all ended well.

I came across these christmas trees from Macys, these photos didn't turn out too bad, I took them as I was running to the Martha Stewart section, Martha is everywhere in Macys.
What colour will your tree be this year, because I have way too many pink, green and blue baubles mine will be the same gorgeous colours this year. Have a fabulous Monday.x
