Shopping

My girlfriend and I spent the day shopping in Melbourne, we were lucky enough to have lunch at the Hopetoun Tea rooms in the block arcade.  The cakes in the window are just divine.

We had pinwheel sandwiches, so so yummy, and coffee, ok and we also had a slice of lemon tart.  We shopped very hard, lots of walking.

These would have been perfect for out in the paddock.

And of course we had to drop into Laura Ashley.

  2. Don't you love Melbourne for a good shop? I know the Hopetoun Tea Room very well. It has been there forever and they make a mean iced coffee too, not to mention the cakes. Sounds like you had a great time. ;-)

  6. Hi Samantha, found your blog via Roses & Rust. Your little pink bird caught my eye! I'm from Berwick and we often go to the Hopetoun Tea Rooms too! Too many fantastic choices for just one visit!
    Enjoy your day, Kerry

  7. Sigh!

Thank you for taking me on a virtual trip to inner city Melbourne, it's been too long since I've been able to enjoy the delights that this little slice of paradise offers.

Watching 'The Block' on channel nine last night I was delighted to see inside 'The Block' that you've just mentioned here - lots of fun!

    Happy day!

    Felicity x
